In addition to the exciting Americo Original yarns, we have a great selection of the brilliant knitwear designs by Nicole Sibonney, available for purchase with Americo Original Yarns.

From Trendsetter Yarns in Los Angeles:

Barry Klein of Trendsetter has introduced new colours of the extremely popular Cha Cha yarn, all in stock now.  Perfect for scarves, cowls, as an accent with lace weight Mohair and wonderful for hand knitted gifts.

Introducing their newest addition to the Cha Cha family: Cha Cha Print!

It’s a hand painted version of the intriguing Cha Cha and is absolutely beautiful! Blend it with solid Cha Cha or use it on it’s own to create a one of a kind scarf or accessories!

A fantastic new book from Interweave Press called "Boutique Knits" arrived this week. This book has the absolute best and most stunning array of patterns I have seen put together in a long time! Boutique Knits contains a wonderful assortment of stylish hats, gloves, headbands, belts, sweaters.... you name it and they have it. There are only a few copies left in stock so be sure to check it out soon!

New beads from Honey Beads also came in this week! We have added natural acai seed beads, tagua nuts, turquoise semi precious stones, cats eye pendants and more! The selection of beads and findings has quickly expanded but if there is anything you would like to see brought into the store please just let me know and we'll be more than happy to order it for you!

I have also been working very hard at adding new pieces to my line of jewellery available at  the store. There is a wide selection of brand new pieces in wonderful colours... I'm having a hard time not keeping it all for myself!

Our Namaste bags have been flying off the shelf as well as the circular needle cases. If you haven't come and checked out the new styles, come soon before they are gone!

Our new class schedule will be out by the end of this week but once again, if there is something you are interested in please email or call me to let me know and we will make sure to schedule it in very soon.

If you are in the mood for knitting NOW and want to get out and socialize with other fantastic knitters, drop by our project class every Thursday night from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. We always run the class unless there is a holiday that day. It is so much fun to sit and knit without interruptions of the outside world for two hours in the company of wonderful people that share the same passions that you do. The cost is 10$ per class and no need to pre register as there is always room for everyone!

Happy knitting everyone! I can't wait to get this gorgeous cashmere sweater I'm working on done and show it off in the store!

Look forward to seeing you at Stix & Stones.

Rae Brenne.
