Welcome to Stix & Stones! This month we celebrate our 1 Year Anniversary retailing yarn, patterns and accessories in North Bay, Ontario!

I am very thankful to the great community of knitter's in the North Bay area and throughout Ontario who have supported me over the past year. Thank you! 

I look forward to many years of serving this region of Ontario and retailing the finest hand knitting yarns, accessories and jewellery.

Operating a small business takes dedication and hard work. I am thankful for the ongoing support of my family. You will meet  members of my family in the shop from time to time to offer you assistance and instruction. Do say hello.

We are very proud of our stock of Canadian yarn companies including yarns and kits from Fleece Artist, Hand Maiden, Pearl Grey and Sweater Kits.

As fleeting as the warmer months are, we choose our selection of yarns and store samples to reflect the year round value of yarns like Cotton, Silk, soft Merino Wools and quality blends of Micro Fibre, Rayon and Bamboo.

We cater to varying tastes in preferences of lifestyles and of fibre content, aware that our customers travel frequently and may have a sensitivity to either animal or man-made yarns.

At Stix & Stones new arrivals are featured to give focus to additions to our yarn selection.

This month we have the arrival of Pima Cotton by Americo Original. 

Pima Cotton is a lovely twist of the finest grade of cotton, spun and dyed in Peru. Our store sample is the Kayla Shrug
perfect for the office or to slip on for evenings out to dinner with friends. The interesting construction and flattering drape of this Nicole Sibboney design will make this piece a year round wardrobe favourite.
